Day 1
Los Angeles to Europe
Day 2
Europe to Nairobi. On arrival to Nairobi you will be met and transferred to the Stanley Hotel, a classic colonial hotel with all of the ammenities associated with a world class luxury hotel.
Day 3
Today your Driver/Guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin your safari. After clearing customs in Namanga, Tanzania – your first destination is Tarangire National Park for an afternoon game drive. Tarangire is home to the largest concentration of Elephants in all of Africa. Tonight you will stay at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge
Day 4 & 5
Morning game drive in Tarangire. This afternoon continue on to Nangorogoro Crater National Park with a visit to the Olduvai Gorge where the Leaky’s discovered the remains of early man. Nangorogoro is considered the world’s largest natural zoo; the wildlife here is amazing and the setting truly special. The next 2 nights you will stay at the Nangorogoro Serena Lodge, set on the edge of the crater
Day 6, 7, 8
The next 3 days will take you to Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is the ultimate destination – bringing you very close to every exotic animal that Africa has to offer. For the next 3 nights you will stay at the stunning Serengeti Serena Lodge – built in traditional maasai style, overlooking the vast Serengeti plains.
Day 9 & 10
This morning continue on to Lake Manyara National Park – famous for its tree-climbing lions. The dense jungle setting is home to an amazing baboon population. For two nights you will stay at the Lake Manyara Serena – built upon the Gregorian Escarpment of the Great Rift Valley with a breathtaking panorama across Lake Manyara to Mount Losimongori.
Day 11 to 16
Today you will be transferred for your Pemba Island diving adventure. You will have 5 days of daily 2 tank boat diving at Manta Reef Resort. Pemba Island’s drift diving offers colorful reefs and large schools of pelagics and, of course, the mantas that make this region famous.
Day 17 to 19
Travel days back to Los Angeles
