Australia: Island and Dive Resorts

Features: Australia has the longest coastline of any nation on earth and it is ringed by coral, volcanic rock and sand.

Australia’s island resorts are set in turquoise waters and with pristine white beaches. Nowhere is this more so than on the islands off the north-east coast of Queensland. The islands are palm-fringed, tropical and beautiful with the finest and largest coral reef in the world on their very doorstep. Heron Island

Heron offers many activities such as guided island and reef walks, semi-submersible cruises, day trips to neighboring Wilson Island and beach picnics. An amazing array of animal and bird life can also be discovered right throughout the year. It’s also world famous for its scuba diving and snorkeling. Dunk Island

Dunk – Australia’s most beautiful rain forest island, has no equal for a tropical holiday. The resort is located in a National Park and has easy access to the Great Barrier Reef. Lizard Island
