The variety of exotic tropical fish in these waters is staggering. Opportunities to see manta rays, dolphins, sharks and all large pelagics are excellent as well. The waters are filled with beautiful soft and hard corals inhabited by thousands of colorful reef fish. Visibility is superb and water temperatures average 82 degrees.
The regions in Indonesia with world class diving are unlimited. Alor, for example, off the east coast of Flores is virtually untouched, its waters abounding with a myriad of spectacular marine life. Tukang Besi, one of the world’s most unique diving destinations, features dramatic drop-offs and magnificent coral reefs.

Manado is one hour flight time from Bali and home to the Bunaken National Marine Park and Lembeh Island Marine Park. Fully protected, these parks are unspoiled marine wilderness areas offering superb diving. Divers will see fantastic underwater walls, spectacular soft coral gardens, wonderful pelagics and reef fish. The beaches here are exquisite as well.

Sulawesi Diving – Kungkungan Bay Resort
Kungkungan Bay Resort is a small exclusive resort set on a coral-filled bay on the Lembeh St Rait. Built in traditional Balinese style, the resort has 1,200 feet of private beach and is surrounded by tropical Rainforest. All rooms are deluxe one bedroom suites or native cottages. The reefs here are pristine, and the snorkeling in front of the resort is excellent. Other activities include jungle tours, hiking, and inland volcanoes, hot springs and lakes tours. The overwater restaurant serves international cuisine.

Remote Wakatobi Dive Resort on Onemobaa in the Banda Sea offers the very best reef diving in the world. Surrounded by a sustainable marine protected area, and only 60 feet away from the house reef Wakatobi is often described as a live aboard with a built-in beach! In addition to the spectacular house reef, there are several dozens of easily accessible dive sites offering incredible marine life diversity, color and natural splendor.
Three boat dives/day and unlimited shore diving are included in every package. The main Lounge house contains all the common guest facilities such as the dive center (with separate equipment and camera room that offers both 220v and 110v charging stations, fridge for film and much more). There is also a rental equipment room, dining area, kitchen, video lounge and marine life reference library as well as storage rooms, the bar and bathrooms.
The rooms have been crafted in the local tradition and are very comfortable. All have 24 hour reliable electricity (from an on-site power plant) and fresh water from a Reverse Osmosis system. All bungalows have both air-conditioning & ceiling fans. There are 4 types to chose from; Garden, Beach, Premium Beach and Cliff Bungalows, all with King size or twin beds, balcony, hot and cold showers, bathroom, fridge and mini bar and internet.

For the macro photographer and for those who appreciate pristine, unexplored, undisturbed reefs, the Wakatobi region is the perfect match, with an incredible variety of hard and soft corals.
Komodo Island cruises are also still available for large pelagics, sharks, manta rays, schooling jacks and an unmatched variety of small critters, soft soft coral, gorgonians, and sea fans. M/Y Pelagian is 35 meters (115 feet) in length, accommodating 12 guests in 6 ensuite cabins, all with natural light and private, attached bathrooms. She has three levels of accommodation ranging from the Master Stateroom, Deluxe Staterooms and Standard Staterooms.

Based in Bali, the Komodo Dancer explores the Flores Sea. The Komodo Dancer is a traditionally crafted, two masted wooden motor sailor. It is 30 meters long, 9 meters wide and accommodates 14 divers in 7 staterooms.
