A giant lagoon surrounded by islands, Palau is one of the seven underwater wonders of the world. Coral-covered vertical walls start at 2 feet below the water’s surface and disappear to over 1,000 feet. The visibility is excellent and marine life consists of more than 1,500 species of fish and over 700 kinds of coral, turtles, porpoises, and rays. Palau is a truly unique dive destination providing world class reef diving, with excellent pelagic and big marine animal diving as well. Kayaking through the rock islands is exquisite.
Palau Pacific Resort
This is a luxurious 5-star resort, set on its own 1,000 foot white-sand beach and private lagoon surrounded by 64 acres of lush tropical gardens. The resort offers excellent diving facilities, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, fishing, and snorkeling in the lagoon with tropical fish, giant clams and coral. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool, tennis courts, a driving range featuring floating golf balls, a health club, 2 outdoor jacuzzis, and an orchid-covered botanical nature trail. There is twice-daily feeding of the tropical fishpond which has over 400 different fish including sharks, lionfish and sting rays. Also offered is a sunset kayak tour and Palauan cultural demonstrations.

This 106-foot, luxury, state-of-the-art, jet-driven power catamaran designed with a massive 30-foot beam has 8 staterooms featuring queen and full-sized beds and en suite bathrooms, individual climate controls, hot freshwater showers and ample storage. There is a huge sun deck with chairs, individual lockers, BBQ & bar, 27″ TV & VCR, CD stereo system and extensive library plus a 30-foot high-speed, jet-driven dive launch. Trips are 7 nights from Sunday to Sunday.
Big Blue Explorer
The M/V Big Blue Explorer’s itinerary includes the spectacular walls along the barrier reef, including such favorites as Blue Corner, Ngemelis drop-off and many other sensational dive sites yet to be charted. Diving is mostly wall and drift diving with visibility ranging from 60 feet to 150 feet. The M/V Big Blue Explorer is fully air-conditioned. Cabins are carpeted and there is a telephone system in each room. 9 twin cabins have ensuite toilet and shower facilities and 9 twin cabins share common toilet and shower facilities. There is a whirlpool Jacuzzi, hot and cold water, 8 open rinse showers on deck. The entertainment center has TV, VHS, and stereo, salon and library. The large sundeck is equipped with teak furniture. Satellite telephone and e-mail is available. Camera facilities include, Sea & Sea Camera, Oceanic DPV, E-6 Film Processing, Video NTSC & PAL system and camera room. Nitrox Membrane System.
